Privacy and Cookies
How Emantrigo handles personal data on this website: contact requests, cookies, analytics and your rights.
Data controller
The controller of your data is Emantrigo, Unipessoal Lda (Portuguese tax ID 518 544 079), registered in Baguim do Monte, Gondomar, Porto, Portugal.
For any privacy question, write to info@emantrigo.com.
Data we may collect
When you contact us through the form, by email, phone or WhatsApp:
- name and email;
- company and project type, when you provide them;
- your message;
- your phone number, if you contact us by phone or WhatsApp;
- any other data you choose to share with us.
When you visit the website:
- pages visited and interactions with the site, such as button clicks;
- where the visit came from, such as the site or search that brought you here;
- device type, browser, operating system and approximate location (country or city);
- technical performance metrics, such as loading time;
- IP address, processed by the hosting provider to deliver the site and protect the service.
Purposes and legal bases
- Contact and quote requests: replying to you and, where applicable, preparing a proposal at your request (pre-contractual steps).
- Other contacts: our legitimate interest in replying to the messages we receive.
- Operation, security and basic cookieless metrics: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure and understanding, in aggregate, how it is used.
- Optional analytics: your consent.
- Marketing and advertising: we don't currently use these technologies. If we do in the future, we will ask for your consent where required.
- Legal obligations: when the law requires us to keep or disclose data, for example for tax purposes if you become a client.
Cookies and analytics
We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories. Only the necessary ones are active by default.
- Necessary (always on): we keep your cookie choice in your browser's local storage for 12 months so we can respect it.
- Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 (
_gaand_ga_*cookies) and PostHog (cookies and local storage with theph_and__ph_prefixes, hosted in the EU region). They use a random identifier to tell visits apart. We don't identify you by name and never send your name, email, phone or message to these tools. - Marketing: reserved for advertising. It is disabled because we don't currently use any technology in this category; see the next section.
If you decline optional cookies, or withdraw consent later, we stop loading those tools and, where technically possible, remove the optional cookies and local data they created.
Even if you decline, we may still collect basic usage and performance metrics through Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These tools don't use cookies or store persistent identifiers on your device.
Marketing and advertising
We currently don't use cookies or optional technologies for behavioural advertising or remarketing.
In the future we may use campaign measurement or advertising technologies, such as pixels or tags from advertising platforms. If we do, this page will be updated with the providers used, we will ask for your choice again, and those technologies will only be enabled after you consent to the Marketing category.
Providers
We use providers that process data on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- Vercel: website hosting, infrastructure and basic metrics;
- Resend: sending the contact form emails;
- Google (Google Analytics) and PostHog: analytics, only with your consent;
- our email provider, to receive and reply to your messages.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, this is done with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep data only for as long as needed for its purpose or to meet legal obligations.
Contact requests may be kept while they remain relevant to following up on the request or to the business relationship.
Analytics data follows the retention periods configured in each service. Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months; after that, we ask again.
Your rights
You can request, at any time:
- access to your data;
- correction of inaccurate data;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- portability, where applicable;
- withdrawal of any consent you gave.
To exercise these rights, write to info@emantrigo.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Changing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page, or .
